Ben is probably still my favorite character and I loved seeing him have a bigger role this time. No matter what hzrper throws at them, they face it together.
Kaje knows how to write people, of all kinds, all ages, from Grandparents to little kids and everyone in between.

But it was almost to the story’s detriment this time. Wonderful end to this series.
I think it lives up to that prediction. The arguments were realistic and believable.

I preferred the original. I think this book was definitely the smexiest book in the series Life, Some Assembly Required.

There is a new murder case, some old to close up and all kind of ordinary day chores to do like a house to fix. Being the final book of the series also the fact that Kaje Harper is one of my top authorssaying that I have expectations will be an understatement. I’m very happy for Mac and Tony who are perfect for each other and evolved so much as individuals as well as a couple.
Thank you Kaje Harper for a fabulous series. Tony was good for dishing out sage advice and little pearls of harperr, so I’ll give him the final word as he seems to sum up exactly how I feel.

And I really, really, really want to know more about Mac’s brother. No idea what to write about it – I’m a happy reader right now: We get a glimpse into Mac’s family and witness Brittany’s trial. Dark Edge of Honor. I hope against hope it isn’t the last we’ve heard from them, I’m sure there is a million stories they have yet to tell us.

Mac is a cop to the bone, but to Tony he is the man he loves. This is probably one of the best books I have read all year long.
I won’t go into the plot for fear of spoilers, but I was satisfied by most of the outcomes.
