I wouldn’t worry about stinking for the IMHO don’t use websites or practice at home, except to learn the names. That it works, don’t make it good.
Shodokan has a 6, 18, 21 and 31 bokke example. Art of the Japanese Short Staff. The small moves I think was just good practice. Chiba sensei has had a huge influence on Briitish Aikido and many people practice his bokken kata.

Bokken Kataa By the way, there could be some mistakes in the translation because i translated it from dutch to english. Is there any complete book with Bokken and Jo movements? Of course for video the Saito Aiki-Ken and Aiki-Jo disks are excellent – although one of these days I need to get around to asking why Saito-sensei breaks his wrists at the end of the stroke and why he drops the sword behind his back at the beginning of the stroke.
